Climax outdoor blinds or 3 things you should know about shading
Blinds versus roller blinds
Wondering what the difference is? Both are on the outside of the window, both slide out... But there is a difference - a big one. Blinds can regulate light transmission by tilting the slats. This means that they "screen out" the sunlight, but still let enough light into the room. However, they don't work as a safety feature. Roller blinds, on the other hand, can withstand strong wind gusts, can soundproof the interior, but cannot regulate light transmission. If you pull them down completely, the room will feel completely dark.
External or internal shading?
Outdoor shading has one big advantage - that not as much heat gets into the room in summer. This is because outdoor blinds and shutters can trap most of the heat radiation before it enters the building. So you can save money on air conditioning on hot summer days. And when you need to heat a room? Just pull the blinds or shutters out.
Due to their light transmission,Climax outdoor blinds are very practical for both office buildings and your home and can reduce the room temperature by up to 10 °C in summer.
Anchoring outdoor blinds?
There are a total of 3 ways:
- Anchoring in the lintel
- Anchoring in the louvre box
- Anchoring with an aluminium cover plate
When building a house or renovating a house, these types of anchoring need to be considered and included in the project. The third type of anchoring can be installed even if the blinds were not considered in the design. The anchorage will be visible but can be matched to the colour of the blinds or the colour of the facade of the house.
