Awnings

Do you want to turn your terrace or balcony into a quiet and pleasant place where you enjoy spending time with family and friends? Climax articulated awnings are the ideal solution to stand out from the sun's rays and protect yourself and your patio equipment from the sun's penetrating light. The awnings can also be used in café and restaurant gardens or as stylish window shading. All awnings are made to measure and are guaranteed for 4 years. For awnings we use special acrylic fabrics with UV protection that repel dirt and water. We offer both manual and electric awnings. For each model you can choose the control method that suits you best. Connecting to a smart home is also an option.

Frequently asked questions from clients

What is the wind resistance of the awning and what will the fabric withstand?

The wind resistance is high, but we recommend to equip the awnings with a shock sensor. We use high quality acrylic fabrics that are colourfast and UV and weather resistant. Thanks to the impregnation, they also repel dirt and water, but they are not primarily used to protect against rain.

Do you make hand-operated awnings?

Yes, you can try out how a crank drive would suit you in our showrooms. The important thing is to think about retracting the awning against strong winds.

Is the awning also rainproof?

Awnings are primarily intended as protection against sunlight. The fabrics are impregnated and can handle light rain at high inclinations, but they need to be dried as soon as possible to prevent the fabric from mildewing.

How much do awnings cost?

The price of the awning depends on the type of construction, dimensions and other specifications. We will be happy to tell you the final price after the measurement.

Why are awnings significantly cheaper in hobby shops?

The key lies in the quality of the materials used, but also in the execution of the job. We manufacture bespoke awnings to the millimetre, offer a four-year guarantee and offer expert installation. The price of an awning, whether low or high, is necessarily reflected in the aesthetic impression and durability.

What are the maximum dimensions and inclinations of awnings?

It depends on the type of awning. The maximum width is 14 metres, the maximum extension is 4 metres and the maximum inclination is 45°.

Do you recommend a shock sensor for the awning?

Yes, we highly recommend it from a safety point of view. Thanks to the sensor, there is no need to worry about protecting the awning from the wind. On the other hand, it is important to remember that the sensor will not protect the awning from unexpected and strong gusts.
